Arriving in Hoedspruit, the gateway to the lowveld bushveld region, you will find the Hat & Creek Restaurant. A superb option to enjoy a meal before heading off to or arriving back from your African Safari experience.

This relaxed eatery offers a selection of local dishes including sublime steaks, ribs, burgers and fabulous seafood dishes. This is serious red meat territory so expect an excellent selection of venison on the menu as well as other local meaty favourites.

For those seafood lovers try the seafood platter, it is seriously awesome. A great choice for the table to share and enjoy a selection of prawns, calamari, mussels in a delicious white cheesy sauce, octopus and a Kingklip capturing centre stage. All beautifully presented, it’s a picture, but so delicious.

The staff certainly add to the experience of dining at The Hat & Creek Restaurant. Well trained, efficient, friendly and they know their stuff. We really enjoy this restaurant on all the visits we have never had a bad meal. Long may Hat & Creek prosper. Long may they serve the delicious kudu steak, it is divine.
